First Entry.....

One word film:

Well this axonometric took a pain stakingly long time to complete so savour it and like it! (please).
I really liked this project because of the amount of instrumental drawings required for its completion. Of course I enjoyed creating my flash animation, but my true love will always reside with instrumental drawings...ahem.

Welcome all!

You are now viewing my composite image how absolutely splendedly spoilt you all are! Don't you think its amazing for maybe THE very first time I've used photoshop. No, I'm not really one for computers, so this is a big thing for me, be proud of me my followers.

The black n white has been used to darw less attention to those parts, as they were very contrasting colours and needed to be 'dulled down' in order for you to be more inclined to see what is really important...which is the picture of me! obviously..

Vlog

Hatching is the most favorite part of insturmental drawings of all students! Yes, the most favorite! And yes, I am lying through my teeth! Hatching is often described as the 'scum of the drawing'. Many people don't like it, the rest hate it with a burning passion. That's the main reason for doing this video, as it shows to the world how grim and cross-eyed you become from hatching. This also realates to my first post's image, as it has hatching, and was a morbid annoyance to complete...Enjoy!

Review

Well now, I have only commented on peoples work that Ive found very interesting, and at the start I just commented to my friends, mainly to get a good comment rating, go me. The comments I have recived are strictly design orientated, except for Richard Roberts, but he is a friend so he's allowed...I think.

Though I haven't commented on some peoples blogs that have truely magnificent work. Reason being that either I haven't had chance to look at it yet, or I was too busy with other things to comment. Yes, sometimes I do actually have things to do when I'm aimlessly wondering around the wigan building.

Composite Image

Welcome all!

You are now viewing my composite image how absolutely splendedly spoilt you all are! Don't you think its amazing for maybe THE very first time I've used photoshop. No, I'm not really one for computers, so this is a big thing for me, be proud of me my followers.

For starters this picture is of my process at the mighty train station! Impressive huh? Did you know there's a New World supermarket in here? I KNOW!! But yes, this is how I get home to Mum, there's the train timetable for Paraparaumu on the top, wonderful place (it's where I'm from, obviously, use your head) and it's at the top because its the most important image, in case you get on the wrong train.

Below is a rather blurry photo of the inside entrance to the train yard, where the trains are stationed, God I have a habit of pointing out the obvious. Yes I made it blurry by intent, no I am not a bad photographer. I made it out of focus for the simple fact that it gives the impression the camera is moving forward, as if im running to jump on a train, which in this case I was. Makes sence don't it?

Finally, the last picture, what a spectacular portrait of me! My make-up artist will be proud. Simply I am there with a great big train behind me because I'm just about to jump on it and go see Mum and actually get a chance to eat something that isn't microwaved. The reason behind this photo is the train guard wasn't too keen on getting photographed, so I had him take a picture of me, best I could do, hope you'll love it.

Entry Number Twooooooo...

3 Blogs that really caught my eye:

http://pruned.blogspot.com/ -- Is about a landscape architecture blogsite. I found it particularly motivating in making me want to do landscape arch next year even more so than already. A lot of bizarre designs I found to be very interesting, and sometimes astounding.

http://www.digitalblasphemy.com/ Is a website created by Ryan Bliss to show off his desktop wallpapers, created by himself of course. I find a lot of them to be very inspiring for my own designing, even though Im not the best with computers, I still find them inspirational.

http://gizmodo.com/ -- To always press the boundaries in industrial design is a very good thing, and by the looks of the gadgets on gizmodo, the next new thing will be spectacular. Time to up my game then, heh!

First Entry...

One Word Film:

Magnetic, the word is fairly self explanatory, there is no real need for a dictionary to describe the adjective.
The one word film project was first conducted from around the third week of university and carried on for another four weeks (approx, don't quote me, please, i beg you).
However, even thoughmy film was a success, I still took about an entire week to find an appropriate word. Initially, I was struggling to peel off words as childish as "constipated", and as impractical as "viking".
Finally after a few sleepless nights, inspiration struck me, that magical idea that would save this dying projects morbidly grim and brutal fate. The word was "Magnetic". The next question on my mind was '"how in the name of all things 'design orientated' would I make a clip about this cursed word?"
It hit me like a Monday morning that the clip should just be about what the word means! (And in some cases does). Simple eh? After a few days sketching up my storyboard for the animation, constructing my axonometric instrumental drawing, and a few long nights spent swearing at computers for not being at all helpful or complient with my needs, I was done.
